Miley Cyrus’ Parents Divorce after 17 Years

Yes, folks, you read it right. Billy Ray Cyrus and wife Tish, parents to Miley “Hanna Montana” Cyrus, have decided to call it quits after 17 years of wedded bliss. This is shocking news indeed!



We were used to seeing the Cyrus family presenting a united front and this split between the parents is not expected. But the couple confirmed to People that they are divorcing after 17 years of marriage and 3 kids. They said in a statement that they are going through a hard time and would welcome thoughts and prayers.

Usmagazine verified that the divorce paper was filed in Williamson Country Chancery Court with Billy Ray as the plaintiff. Reason cited was “irreconcilable differences.”
Billy Ray and Tish have both been very supportive of daughter, Miley’s career. In fact, dad Billy Ray even joined Miley on the wildly successful Hannah Montana tv series while mom Tish was an executive producer on the “The Last Song”.

Well, could this be one of the reasons why Miley is recently spiraling out of control as regards her recent physical and professional changes?
